Don’t access Box from untrusted resources: As we can’t vouch for the integrity of non-Informatica resources, they are considered untrusted. Do not access BOX unless you are certain the devices are secure.
Don’t download and store sensitive company documents to Non-Informatica resources: You are responsible for protecting Informatica data. Ensure you don’t store sensitive documents to Non-Informatica resources.
Users should not store illegal media such as bootleg copies of movies, music, applications or other data which puts Informatica at risk: Informatica can be held liable if you store illegal medial on our enterprise Box account or Informatica devices. Please ensure you don’t use BOX to store these types of data.
Users should ensure they completely log off of BOX when access is no longer needed: Forgetting to logoff of any application may allow an unauthorized individual access to an already opened application.
Don’t use BOX to store our customers data, and especially if that data is protected (PHI, PCI, PFI, etc): Informatica’s current position is that we don’t store or process customer owned data. Ensure you don’t inadvertently or overtly store customer sensitive data
Don’t share documents to those without a need to know.
Compliance with Informatica’s Data Retention Policy is mandatory: Don’t delete documents that have specific data retention requirements.
Share documents securely: Ensure any shared links expire or are deleted when no longer needed.
Any data stored within BOX is the property of Informatica and is subject to discovery.
